Shirley Krueger is an experienced human resources professional having worked in a variety of industries including temporary staffing, construction, real estate, manufacturing, and non-profit. Krueger is currently the Sr Vice President of Operational Development at Community Forever Village, a development of The 1877 Journey.

She joined the North Texas SHRM Chapter in 2017 and began serving on the board in 2018 as VP of Professional Development – Annual Conference, then as President-Elect in 2020. She was presented with the NTXSHRM 2019 Pyramid Award in recognition of her outstanding service to the NTXSHRM Society. She is a graduate of Leadership Denton, is on the Board of Directors of Serve Denton, past president of Denton Youth Basketball, and past Cub Scout Leader. She is an active volunteer with Our Daily Bread and past volunteer with Communities In School.

Shirley has lived in the north Texas area all her life. She graduated from Columbia Southern University with a BS of Business Administration in Human Resource Management. She holds SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, and PHR certifications.

Susan Wood is the Founder and CEO of IFI Training. SUsan's leadership style is working with a team to develop and implement processes and ideas. She strives to make a difference by giving people the skills they need to succeed in life. "When work is easier to do, everything you do outside of work gets better too. Change happens best when tools and principles are applied regularly and consistently -- becoming better one drop at a time. Susan works to improve people and the organizations they work for through workshops and presentations. Susan has been instrumental in building a curriculum of workshops to transfer skills, leading workshops in organizations of all sizes across the United States.

Susan has served on the board for a few years now in roles with Workforce Readiness and Membership. She is looking forward to serving as North Texas SHRM President in 2026.

Dwayne Clarke has been in Human Resources for over 15 years specializing in employee well-being and employee engagement. He joined North Texas SHRM in 2016 starting as a brand ambassador and being actively involved in the chapter. He has also worked on the 2019 and 2020 conference planning committee. He is the current chair for the 2021 conference. He is SHRM Certified Professional and currently pursuing a master’s degree in Human Resource Development. He wants to continue helping our chapter grow because HR professionals need continued support and development in our ever changing and evolving profession. North Texas SHRM is a great resource to accomplish that goal. His desire is to be of service to whoever he can, with the gifts he is given.

Rhonda Lukie is currently the HR Manager for SELECT Commercial Services, LLC.  SELECT is a professional janitorial company located in Farmers Branch and my role is HR, payroll, and benefits department of one.  I have been in HR for more than 20 years with 13 of that in the oil and gas industry, even moving to Midland for a short time.  I specialize in employee relations and management training programs on topics such as harassment, legal hiring, proper performance reviews and counseling employees.

She has previously served on the North Texas and Permian Basin SHRM boards as well as Lake Dallas FFA Booster Club and was a Girl Scout Cookie Mom in Lake Dallas.

Rhonda earned her Bachelors in Personnel Management from UNT in Denton.

Pam Barnes has served as CFO for HSNT for over 26 years and has played a major role in facilitating the growth and development of the organization. Ms. Barnes graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a BS of Business Administration in Accounting in 1993. Ms. Barnes joined NTSHRM in 2008 when she was responsible for HR functions at HSNT and joined the board the next year as VP of Finance in which capacity she has continued to serve the organization with enthusiasm. Her volunteerism also includes membership in the Denton Noon Kiwanis club, City of Denton Human Services Advisory Committee, Leadership Denton, past board member of the Tejas Storytelling Association and camp volunteer for the Girl Scouts, Cross Timbers Council.

Regina Wright is a retired HR Director of Denton ISD and was employed with the District for 28 years. Regina has been a member of NTSHRM since 2007 and has served in various roles  including VP of membership, President Elect, President, and now continues to serve in the role of Co-VP of membership. Richard first developed a passion for what learning can do for someone as a 19-year-old on the streets of Peru. Powerful principles can and should be life changing, at work and home. As he taught throughout college, he developed a passion for effective teaching and how it facilitates the change he saw in my students and when he was teaching in Peru. After graduating college and working in Human Resources, he saw firsthand how effective training increased employee retention, employee engagement and productivity and created an environment where people made significant changes to help their businesses grow and achieve the greatest things possible. Helping organizations on an individual and corporate level is what keeps him doing the job that he does now.

John P. Hagan is an HR attorney who practices nationwide employment law from his office in Allen, Texas and is Board Certified in Texas Labor and Employment Law. He is ranked by his peers to be in the top 5% of all lawyers in Texas and is an award-winning author for the College of the State Bar. Mr. Hagan has written on many employment law issues, including damages, discrimination, and wrongful termination. Mr. Hagan has co-authored the Employment Law Handbook - Texas (Texas Association of Business and Chambers of Commerce) and Texas Employment Law for James Publishing.

Mr. Hagan and his firm represent a wide range of companies of all sizes and in all industries. His specialty is counseling companies using best practices and preventative HR resulting in less litigation.  Mr. Hagan has been named consistently as a Texas Super Lawyer (©Thomson Reuters) from 2010 – 2021.

During his 35 years in the training industry, Scott has worked with several well-known training companies that have amazing content and good delivery but still failed to "move the needle". I am currently serving as the Senior People Manager for Walmart's Health & Wellness Division, where I support the Optical Lab in Dallas, TX, the Home Delivery Pharmacy in Carrollton, TX, and the Specialty Pharmacy in Orlando, FL. My journey with Walmart began 15 years ago as an hourly HR coordinator in Raleigh, NC. Over the years, I have progressed through various roles in Supply Chain and ultimately found my passion in Health & Wellness.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Wright State University in Dayton, OH, and I am a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Outside of work, I am an active supporter of the Dress for Success program and enjoy spending quality time with my family.

Monica Crishi is an employee health and benefits Advisor at Marsh McLennan Agency. With a sniper’s focus on the nonprofit industry, her hope is to positively impact the business health of our community health. Prior to this advisory role, Monica was the Coach for employee benefits service team in the Dallas office and earlier spent several years in various Human Resources leadership roles at other organizations.

Monica has held her Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from HRCI since 2015 and has achieved a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from King’s College Holy Cross. She graduated from Basic Training and the Chemical Corps at Fort Leonardwood in 2004 and dedicated twelve years to the Department of Defense.

On a slow day at home, Monica does artsy fartsy crafting and snuggles with her French bulldogs, PB and Jay. I am a dedicated human resource professional with over 10 years of progressive human resources experience. My current role is Safety and Compliance Manager for Classic Collision. Classic Collision is one of the largest privately held auto body repair providers with over 300 locations nationwide. I completed my master’s degree in Human Resource Education at Louisiana State University and hold PHR, PHRca, and SHRM-CP certifications.

I strongly believe in continuing education and HR certification as a way for human resources professionals to demonstrate their extensive knowledge, commitment to best practices, and dedication to their organizations. I have served as the Certification Direction for NTX SHRM since May 2024.
