North Texas SHRM - Certification Study Opportunities

Advance your career and demonstrate you are the most qualified and valuable HR professional you can be when you become SHRM-certified.

If you are preparing to take your SHRM or HRCI certification exam and would like to join a study group, please reach out to Robin Silverman at certification@ntxshrm.org.

NTXSHRM has also joined with North Central Texas College to offer a SHRM prep course that includes an instructor and all study materials. Click here for more information and to register.

Anyone who is not a current member of NTXSHRM, who enrolls in and completes the NCTC class, is eligible for free membership to NTXSHRM for the calendar year in which they are enrolled in the course. Your professor must submit verification of completion of the class to membership@ntxshrm.org requesting the membership be granted. Membership in the following calendar year will be at regular membership rates.

Certification Scholarship and Grant Opportunities

SHRM Foundation Certification Grant- Go to Scholarships, Grants, and Awards | SHRM Foundation for eligibility criteria and to apply.

NTXSHRM Certification Scholarship- Up to $500 reimbursement for exam fees or study material. Deadline to apply is March 31st.

NCTC SHRM Certification Prep Class

NTXSHRM has partnered with North Texas Central College (NCTC) Continuing Education for a SHRM Prep class. The next prep class will be offered this spring. Visit https://www.nctc.edu/events-calendar/continuing-education-course-shrm for more details.

Course cost- $1,099 (includes materials, course LMS, student learning kit and instructor access)

Course dates- February 20- May 15, Thursday evening 6pm-9pm, ONLINE

Deadline to enroll- February 17. Email ACE@nctc.edu to enroll.
