Roger P. Lette Student Scholarship
If you're pursuing your degree in Human Resources or an HR related field, NTXSHRM invites you to apply for this $1000 scholarship! Scholarships are awarded annually in December; the deadline to apply is November 15th.
Scholarship applicant must attend a school with an active SHRM chapter in North Texas and be pursuing a degree in an HR-related field. Scholarship recipient will primarily be selected on merit.
Scholarship applicant must:
- Complete the application for a NTXSHRM Student Scholarship Award. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
- Provide a 200-word (or less) essay explaining why you applied for this scholarship and how this scholarship will be relevant to you.
- Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Provide proof of a commitment for volunteerism.
Scholarship applicant will also be evaluated on the following:
- Local SHRM chapter involvement
- Commitment to the HR profession
- Academic achievement (GPA)
- Volunteerism/Community Service Activities/Work Experience
- Financial need
