Emerging Professionals Director

Function:

To attract, educate, develop, and empower early-career (up to five years) human resource professionals’ talent by creating a community devoted to sharing experiences and knowledge.

Responsible To:

  • The chapter vice president of membership
  • The chapter president
  • The members of the chapter

Responsibilities:

  • Provide education and information on career paths available in HR and how to make them a reality.
  • Development through sharing experiences and best practices.
  • Coaching, mentoring, building relationships, and networking through the chapter.

Requirements:

  • Must be a North Texas SHRM Chapter member in good standing
  • Must attend at least four board meetings
  • Attend at least 50% of chapter meetings and events
