Rick Gillis

Am I paid fairly for the work I do is a question a lot of people ask themselves today. Depending on the source, women earn 18-20% less than men while Black, Indigenous, and People of Color may earn even less. None of this is news but instead of waiting for the government or your company to make fair pay a reality, Rick Gillis, author of Leveling the Paying Field, A Groundbreaking Approach to Achieving Fair Pay, is putting the power of achieving the proper pay for what you do into your own hands.

Several books exist on the topic of fair pay, but none offers an individual approach to achieving fair pay like Leveling the Paying Field. Gillis has created a rich new metric for measuring the value of the work you produce he calls the QTNT® (pronounced: ‘quotient’). Your QTNT score can then be used to realistically challenge your current rate of pay. The best part is this process is astonishingly simple!

“Gillis provides readers with a broad array of ways for supervisors and workers to come to an equitable calculation of how much actual value each employee generates for the company. The long experience the author brings to the subject is obvious on every page; he comes across continuously as workers’ tireless cheerleader. Every employee in the world has commercial value, he insists, and in these brightly written pages, he seeks to help them all make the most of that worth.

“An infectiously evenhanded, useful approach to assessing fairer pay.” – Kirkus Reviews

Ultimately, the result of this groundbreaking new method is that not only will you be able to determine and defend the value you deliver to your company but equal pay for equal work will ultimately be realized. Even better, the proper pay for your outstanding performance now becomes the new normal.

Leveling the Paying Field is the sum of Rick Gillis' varied and colorful career in sales, as a manager, author, speaker, award-winning media host, and indisputable thought leader.  For more information on Rick Gillis, visit: https://rickgillis.com/
