We believe in making meaningful differences in the lives of others. This belief extends beyond our
individual professions into the communities in which we live, work, and play.

North Texas SHRM is joining with United Way of Denton County to fill backpacks for Back to School Across Denton County.

Economically disadvantaged students in our local school districts face many barriers to success and graduation, including access to basic school supplies as they head back to school. United Way collaborates with a network of nonprofits, school districts, area businesses and civic groups to ensure every student is equipped to start the year ready to learn!

International Women's Day - March 8, 2022

Today we honor International Women's Day, a global day of celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women from the past and present. As well as being a day of reflection, it also calls for the acceleration of gender parity by promoting action for a world free of bias, discrimination, and stereotypes. The campaign theme for International Women’s Day, 8 March 2022 (IWD 2022) is, Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow, recognizing the contribution of women and girls around the world, who are leading the charge on climate change adaptation, mitigation, and response, to build a more sustainable future for all. #BreakTheBias

In 2020, during a global pandemic, NTSHRM donated canned goods in exchange for masks. The canned foods was donated to Our Daily Bread.
