The Site HR Partner roles are key to this as members of the North American "Connect" team.
Site HR Partners will deliver new systems and programs for our customers and HR to use, and ensure consistency and compliance in HR through intimate connections to Solvay’s people, businesses, and functions at a local level.
Job Duties and/or Responsibilities
This position will support the Materials business’s Greenville Texas site, which is a large, unionized and critical site. These duties include:
* Support employees (including leaders) in Moments that Matter - both professional (career & development) and personal development. The covered population of employees exceeds 300.
* Manage Labor Relations on a day-to-day level, i.e. contract administration and handling grievances/arbitration.
* Partner with Site Leadership and Managers to advise on people topics (talent, organization, performance, development) and initiatives.
* Direct communication channel to Strategic Business Partners.
* Support Global People Solutions project work on an as-needed basis.
* This position supervises one HR administrator on site.
Minimum Qualifications
You will bring:
7+ years of experience in an HR-related role supporting a large and complex unionized manufacturing site.
Degree in Human Resources Management or related business field.
Experience in the administration of HR policies and programs (e.g., performance management, compensation, benefits, etc.)
Experience in employee relations at the site level; day to day labor relations experience - contract interpretation and administration, grievances and arbitrations, working with union reps and committees
Experience with organizational change, such as new approaches to HR, leadership, and people and functional resources deployment
Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Ability to relate well to all levels of employees, such as executives, managers, individual contributors, and especially blue collar hourly employees

Salary
The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $103,306 to $129,132.
