Our monthly luncheon meetings are typically held on the
4th Thursday of every month. For 2020, the dates are:
Rob Pine: “My job is only a part of my life – do you hear me” – demonstrating you care empowers employees to perform. This presentation will focus on the how the employer can demonstrate they care about the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being of the people they employ even outside the workplace environment.
Rodney Klein: Leveraging Civility in an Uncivil World: Our social discourse is growing increasingly uncivil, and the fault lines run through our organizations. We will discuss how to both create and maintain a respectful workplace. We will talk about the need for changing the subtle ways supervisors dissuade employees from bringing up behavior issues, the advantage of addressing behavior sooner rather than later, and benefits of working in a civil and physiologically-safe environment
Danyelle Ackall: Transforming from an HR Manager to Business Partner
May: No Luncheon - Conference 17-18
Vianei Lopez-Braun: “Supreme Court Update: Key Decisions from the 2019-2020 Term.” The primary focus will be the three LGBT cases under Title VII, along with any other Supreme Court decisions that may impact HR practitioners.
